Screening of the documentary about people with hearing disabilities «Hear Me»
On June 23, 2019, Almetyevsk Beach hosted the premiere screening and discussion of the first documentary film about people with hearing impairments, «Hear Me».

The film tells about the fates of millions of people living in Russia with various hearing impairments. The social issues touched upon in the film deal with the theme of mutual respect and exclusion from society.
«Hear Me» is a film that bridges the gap between the world of hearing and the world of the deaf. The film tells how our hearing works and how to live without it: with real-life examples, with real stories, modern technology, social experiments, the opinions of leading experts, unique archives and amazing statistics.

The premiere screening of the documentary about Russian street art and graffiti «In the Open»
On July 7, 2019, Almetyevsk hosted the premiere screening of the first documentary film dedicated to the study of Russian street art and graffiti – «In the Open».

The film was directed by Nikita Nomerz, a street artist from Nizhny Novgorod. The artist's work can be seen in Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Perm, Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk. In addition, Nikita Nomerz is the creator of «Mesto», a street art research project in Nizhny Novgorod, and «Tochka», which is a curatorial statement and exhibition of street art in urban space.
The documentary film «In the Open» opens the door to the «behind the scenes» of street art and tells about street artists and graffiti writers from all over Russia. Dozens of recorded interviews provide answers to many questions not only for the viewer, but also for the authors themselves. More than 60 artists took part in the project, thus the film reflects the current state of street art and shows the variety of styles, techniques, directions and views. It allows the viewer to learn how the preparation and creation of street objects, the work in the workshops, participation in exhibitions and festival projects take place.
