«Veil» is made of compressed stainless steel sheets, LED strip lights and chain-link. Searching for ideas for the object, the crew of the bureau visited Kichuchatovo village, where the Memorial Museum of Rizaeddin Fakhreddin, a well-known Tatar scholar is located. Director of the museum told them about Tatar embroidery, by the patterns of which they used to learn about the wealth of the family, how many children they had and so on. Therefore, making the installation «Veil», the authors were inspired by floral images from embroidery.
At night time «Veil» casts whimsical flower shadows and highlights, creating a magical atmosphere for those who look at the installation from the windows of wards and offices. The perspective from below is also impressive: you need to stand under the «Veil», raise your hand and look at the sky through the floral pattern. The generator house was lined with compressed stainless steel, so now it reflects the lights of the installation, windows, the sky and trees. The glittering and shimmering generator house is an allusion to the water of the ancient ocean, which was located in the area of the Almetyevsk district many centuries ago.
